Winter Romance: A Dusky Blue Wedding at The Three Horseshoes Inn
Laura and Rob’s wedding was one of those days that stays with you — not just because it was stunning, but because they’re good friends of mine too. They tied the knot at The Three Horseshoes Inn in the heart of winter, embracing the season with a beautifully soft, dusky blue colour palette that felt elegant, cosy and timeless ❄️💙

Designing Their Winter Palette
Laura knew she wanted a winter wedding that felt romantic rather than heavy. Dusky blues became the star of the show, paired with soft neutrals and gentle foliage to keep everything light and refined.
Working closely together, we shaped the flowers around her vision — even when that vision felt a little “I don’t know… maybe?” at times (we’ve all been there 😂). My job was to guide, suggest, and gently pull everything together into something that felt completely them.
Flowers That Last a Lifetime
Laura’s bridal bouquet and the bridesmaid flowers were all created using high-quality silk florals, chosen not just for their beauty but for their longevity. One of the biggest joys of working with silk flowers is knowing that these bouquets won’t fade — they’ll stay just as perfect as they were on the wedding day.
From the ceremony through to the confetti moment, the florals tied the whole day together seamlessly, adding softness and texture to their winter celebration.
A Sentimental Touch Close to the Heart
One of the most meaningful details of Laura’s bouquet was a beautiful charm she added, holding a photograph of her grandad who sadly couldn’t be with her on the day. Tucked gently into her bouquet, it meant he was still part of the walk down the aisle — a quiet, emotional touch that made the flowers even more special. It’s details like this that make wedding florals so much more than just decoration; they become keepsakes filled with love, memories, and meaning. 🤍✨

A Grateful Review From The Happy Couple
Laura and Rob were kind enough to share some beautiful words about their wedding florals, which I’m honoured to have been part of. Here’s what they had to say:
“Leanne was helpful and supportive from day 1, guiding us through the process, prompting us to think about things we would have completely forgotten!! She was also incredibly patient with all my indecisiveness and my ‘I don’t knows’ 🤣. She managed to take a few weak ideas I thought I kind of liked and turn them into something incredibly beautiful. The flowers for our wedding were absolutely stunning and 100% exceeded our expectations. The best bit is I get to keep my flowers forever and they will always be just as perfect as on our wedding day 🥰”
